Where to start
Digital certificate
The electronic identity that settles almost everything online. We obtain and install it for you, for companies too.
Padrón registration in Valencia
Registration and change of address on the padrón, historical certificates and what to do if you have no housing contract.
Apostille and sworn translations
Legalisation of foreign documents and translation by a sworn translator appointed by the Foreign Ministry, with the real timing of each route.
Powers of attorney
General, special or litigation powers, with or without apostille, so we can act for you without you being present.
How long each one takes and what delays it
The real timing of these procedures depends less on the office than on the documents needed beforehand, and that is where a month is won or lost:
- Digital certificate: the request and the download take minutes; what sets the calendar is the in-person identity appointment at a registration office, which varies a lot from office to office.
- Padrón: immediate through the electronic office if you have the housing document; if you depend on the owner's signed authorisation, it takes as long as that signature takes.
- Apostille: it is requested in the country that issued the document, and there is no shortcut. That is why it is ordered first of all, even before deciding the route of the file.
- Power of attorney: at a consulate it depends on the consular diary, which in some countries runs months behind; before a local notary it takes days, but adds apostille and translation.
The rule we always apply: first launch the documents that depend on third parties, and prepare everything else while they arrive. The other way round, you wait twice.
How we work on these procedures
Almost all of them can be done on your own, and that is what our step-by-step guides are for. What a registered gestoría adds is something else: filing with a professional certificate, knowing in advance which document the administration will ask for, and catching the error before the request for corrections arrives.
The order we recommend to anyone newly arrived in Valencia is always the same: first the padrón, then NIE and TIE, and as soon as there is a NIE, the digital certificate. With those three pieces, the rest of administrative life in Spain is done from home.
If your matter is immigration, the dedicated section is immigration procedures; if it is a car, vehicle paperwork.

Most of them, yes, with a digital certificate or Cl@ve. The padrón, the digital certificate and the apostille have an online route; a power of attorney requires signing before a notary or consul.
