Frequently asked questions

What is a gestor and why do I need one in Spain?

A gestor administrativo is a state-certified professional who deals with Spanish public administration on your behalf: immigration, tax office, traffic authority (DGT), social security and town halls. A certified gestor files applications electronically with a professional certificate - no queues, fewer errors, faster results.

Do you work with clients outside Valencia?

Yes. Thanks to digital certificates and powers of attorney, we handle procedures all over Spain remotely. Our office is in Valencia if you prefer to meet in person, and we handle paperwork remotely across the whole of Spain.

How much do your services cost?

The first consultation is free. You get a fixed quote before we start - no surprises.

Regularising your status: the five arraigo routes

Since the Regulation that came into force on 20 May 2025, two years of continuous residence are enough instead of three, and the authorisations granted permit work:

All five arraigo routes

Social, sociolaboral, familiar, socioformativo and second chance, with the general requirements and the mistakes that sink files.

NIE, TIE and renewals

What each document is, when to renew (two months before, three after) and why renewals now run for four years.

Digital nomad visa

Income thresholds, the twenty-day decision at the UGE-CE and how it combines with the Beckham law.

Register a foreign car

Customs for non-EU vehicles, type approval or ficha reducida, ITV, registration tax and Spanish plates.

Exchange your licence

EU permits and third countries with an agreement, plus the DGT digital exchange that skips the appointment.

Step by step guides

Plain English walk-throughs with the Spanish law linked: digital certificate, appointments, file tracking.

Just arrived? This is the order that works

1. Register on the padrón

Padrón registration is free and proves where you live. Health card, school places and proof of continuous residence all hang off it.

2. NIE and TIE

The NIE is the number the administration knows you by; the TIE is the physical card. They are constantly confused.

3. Digital certificate

With a digital certificate you can do from home what otherwise needs an appointment: tax office, social security, padrón, DGT and immigration files.

4. Then whatever applies

With those three in place it is a matter of picking the right route. That is what the free consultation is for.
