Immigration gestoría in Alicante

If you are registered in the province of Alicante, your file is decided by the Alicante immigration office and your fingerprints are taken by the Policía Nacional in that same province. None of that requires your gestoría to be there: filing is online and we do it with a professional certificate from València.

Why Alicante is a case apart

The province of Alicante has one of the largest and most diverse foreign populations in Spain, and it shows in the files. Two profiles live side by side and have nothing in common:

  • EU and British residents on the coast, with EU citizen registration, Withdrawal Agreement TIE and renewals. Here the key is usually proving financial means and insurance, not time in Spain.
  • Non-EU residents, with arraigo, family reunification and renewals, where the historical padrón and home-country documents decide the case.

Mixing the two paths is the most expensive mistake, because the requirements and the deadlines are nothing alike.

What we handle for the province of Alicante

  • Arraigo in its five forms.
  • Residency renewals, including those filed late.
  • Family reunification, with the housing report from the relevant town hall.
  • NIE and TIE, including the fingerprint appointment.
  • Digital nomad visa and Law 14/2013 permits, common on the coast.
  • Spanish citizenship, which is filed online and does not depend on the province.

The Alicante town hall and those of the province issue the padrón and its history, which underpin almost everything above. If there is a gap in the padrón, it is resolved before filing.

You do not need to come to the office

Most of the work is done online, with a digital certificate or a power of representation, so where the client lives does not limit the service. There are two routes and both are routine:

  • Digital certificate: you sign from wherever you are, and we prepare and file the application.
  • Power of representation or electronic authorisation: we act on your behalf using the professional certificate of a registered gestora.

The exception is strictly personal acts, which nobody can do for you: proving your identity to obtain the digital certificate, giving fingerprints for the TIE, and taking the oath in a citizenship file. Those must be done in person, and always in the province where you are registered.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to travel to Valencia to hire you?

No. The file is prepared and filed remotely, with a digital certificate or power of representation, and we communicate by WhatsApp or email.

Where are my TIE fingerprints taken?

At a Policía Nacional office in the province of Alicante, with its own appointment, which we arrange once there is a favourable decision.

I am British and lived here before Brexit. What applies to me?

The Withdrawal Agreement TIE, which protects the rights of those resident before 31 December 2020. It is a different procedure from that of a non-EU national arriving now.

Are waiting times in Alicante worse than in Valencia?

It depends on the moment and the type of file. The legal deadline is the same because the law is national; what changes is each office's workload.

Do you work in English?

Yes, and also in Ukrainian and Russian, as well as Spanish.
